GHDE Business & Accounting Services was formed in April 2013.
Our mission was and always has been to offer premium business and accounting services at affordable prices, to businesses and those self-employed in Essex and London.
From starting out training with a medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants in Surrey, a role was created within the accounting function of an internationally respected auction house in Bond Street, London, for a very enthusiastic young accountant. This opportunity was grasped with both hands and by the time a move into real estate beckoned, the now London Chief Accountant had achieved all that he had hoped for, and more.
As the Group Financial Controller of a fully listed property trading and investment company, based in and around Mayfair London, much experience was garnered over a period of fifteen years.
As a consequence of change of circumstance, a desire to get back to pure accounting fundamentals and a wish to work for myself, GHDE was formed.
GHDE Business & Accounting Services prides itself in providing a hands-on, fully engaged service, where clients know that they will receive professional advice for an affordable fee.
From my own experience, it is clear to me that the larger the service provider, the less satisfaction is had by the client. The service can quickly become reactive rather than proactive as the client becomes just one of many. This is the last thing a growing business wants or needs. Sometimes, small is indeed beautiful!
For the reasons outlined above, the business has grown organically over the years, through word of mouth and recommendation.
